Sing Buri is a properous city in the history at the Chao Phraya Riverside, where the glory of Bang Rajan is occured. It is one of important trading centers in Central Thailand now. |

The city was established in 1895 by King Rama V, through a consolidation of 3 small riverside towns at the north of Ang Thong province, including Sing Buri, In Buri, and Phrom Buri. The new city was named "Sing Buri" since then. |
In Ayuthaya period, this location is where the historic story of "Bang Rachan" had occurred. It was a praiseworthy glory of Ban Bang Rachan villagers who fight with all their might in a war with Burmese invaders.
